Praise for John Jarzynski and Hunting Dogs & Lessons Learned

“There is unmistakable warmth and understanding in Jarzynski’s storytelling. It hits a chord of fond memories for myself. Like sitting around a campfire after a successful day in the field, each chapter invites readers to light focus, laugh a little, reflect a little, and perhaps remember a four-legged companion who left muddy paw prints on the floor(or the rug) — and permanent ones on the heart.”

Forrest Fischer – The Dunkirk Observer

“Hunting Dogs and Lessons Learned is much more than a book about rabbit hunting. It is a celebration of sporting traditions, the bond between hunters and their dogs, and the wisdom gained through a lifetime spent outdoors. Hunters will appreciate its authenticity. Dog owners will recognize the devotion required to care for loyal companions. Even readers with little hunting experience will find themselves smiling at Jarzynski’s wit and reflecting on the universal lessons woven throughout his stories”

New York Outdoor News

“Nearly every chapter has his special humor flavoring each story as he weaves his lessons from cover to cover. However, as much as you can appreciate a good laugh, he can take you down a road of serious emotions that certainly will bring a tear to your eye.”

Bill Hilts Jr – Buffalo News

“John Jarzynski brings a career of teaching English and life Long love of dogs to weave narratives that captivate the reader” .
